JT Cajun: Authentic Cajun Seafood Delight in Garland, TX

Got the 10 hot wings and fries. I'm not a big fan of battered fries but, these were pretty good. The wings were cooked well and they are not shy on the sauce. Even as wet as they were, they stillba bit of crispness to them. Food came out quickly and hot. Will definitely be back to try other menu items or for hot wings again.

was appreciative to find a restaurant that offers15 Fish Nuggets . With the nuggets my side order were fries. Both items were seasoned just right . An ample amount of condiments were provided when my dasher dropped off my order that was still warm.

We’ve been driving by this place for a couple of years now and kept telling ourselves that we were going to try it someday. Honestly, I wish we had done it a lot sooner! The salt pepper shrimp and fish nuggets are a must! Every time we order its so perfectly seasoned and the batter is just so yummy and crispy on the outside ..the best part is that it’s super affordable. The serving size is very generous as well. We can never finish all of our food.

Delicious, one word review. Unfortunately, y'all need all the details and tips. This is Cajun style crawfish. Not Viet Cajun. However, you can ask for them to add spicy garlic butter to kick it up a notch. The salt and pepper wings, and their home style corn nuggets are divine. Food comes out rather quickly. *Friday nights are super busy. *Yes, they have a drive through you can order crawfish from. *Grilled seafood dishes are hidden gems here.

I love the salt and pepper shrimp. That's all I order now. I tried the chicken but it's a no for me although it's cooked to order and seasoned good. The chicken is fried fresh but the chicken itself doesn't taste fresh to me. I've tried several times and every time the chicken doesn't taste fresh although it's cooked fresh.

Good food. Nice and hot. Scenery is plain and simple, but the food is what counts.

I ordered the #8, 2 fish 9 shrimp to go. It was delicious. You can get it with fries or rice. I chose fries. The fries were so good. They actually held up until I got home, not soggy at all. I dont know what seasoning they use on their fish and shrimp, but its got such a good flavor. They have so much to choose from. I will definitely be coming back.

Oh my gosh, where do I begin? First, didn't think much at all from the exterior of this unassuming stand alone hole in the wall place. But, you should not judge a book by its cover! I started off with Boudain Balls as an appetizer. They were SO. FREAKING. GOOD!!! These deep fried, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside scrumptious mouth watering balls were bursting with so much flavor! They seasoned it so perfectly! It came in an order of three and I didn't even share! My friends had to order their own. Lol. The Boudain Balls were made from chopped sausage, rice, and a combination of vegetable, and aromatic seasoning rolled into a delicious ball! Be careful though cus it was served steaming hot! My table also ordered these bomb wings! They were crispy and crunchy! The salt and peppery seasoning balanced well with the sautéed onions and spicy chili pepper flakes! SO GOOD. I was preoccupied with the Boudain balls, so my friends only left me like two wings to eat. We ordered like 15 lbs. of crawfish and the seasoning was perfection! I thought I heard that they didn't have good sized crawfish this year - I guess because JT Cajun got them all! I was surprised that the crawfish were all pretty big and were just alive a few minutes before going into our bellies. We also ordered the snow crab legs and shrimp! The snow crab legs still had that crisp crack when we opened them (you know that's fresh!) and the shrimp were jumbo and slightly sweet. Sometimes a place will have great seafood, but their seasoning may be lackluster. Then, other places have great seasoning, but not the freshest seafood. JT Cajun does it juuuuuuust right! The seasoning is in point, the seafoood fresh, and the prices are so reasonable! Don't be deterred by the simple exterior. This place has some of the BEST Cajun seafood I've ever eaten! (Sorry for the lack of pics, I was trying to eat faster than my friends!)
